Organogenesis Expands Footprint with Full-Building Lease at Davis Biomanufacturing Facility in Smithfield, RI

BOSTON— The Davis Companies has secured a full-building lease agreement with Organogenesis Holdings Inc. at 100 Technology Way in Smithfield, Rhode Island — a premier 123,000-square-foot biomanufacturing facility that will now serve as a significant hub for Organogenesis’ growing production needs.

Organogenesis, a leader in regenerative medicine focused on advanced wound care and surgical product solutions, will utilize the facility to expand and enhance its biomanufacturing operations, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to maintaining and growing its manufacturing presence in New England.

A multi-year construction project is already underway to upgrade 100 Technology Way into a state-of-the-art cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) facility, supported by robust utility infrastructure designed specifically to meet the complex demands of advanced biomanufacturing.

Strategically located just off Interstate 295, the site offers exceptional access to Cambridge and Boston, positioning it competitively among Greater Boston’s leading life sciences and manufacturing corridors.

The lease transaction was brokered by Robert Coughlin and Bobby Jangro of JLL, who represented Organogenesis, while Mark Winters and Tyler McGrail of Newmark represented Davis and the property.

This latest expansion by Organogenesis reflects the broader momentum in New England’s life sciences sector and highlights the increasing demand for specialized biomanufacturing space throughout the region.
