WORCESTER, Mass.— In a strategic move to extend its real estate services beyond Greater Boston, NextGen Realty has announced the official opening of its newest office in Worcester Common, marking its second location in Massachusetts. The expansion underscores the firm’s commitment to supporting the growing demand for rental housing and real estate services in Central Massachusetts.

The Worcester office, which began operations on March 25, 2025, will serve as a regional hub offering comprehensive services in rental listings, exclusive apartment leasing, and real estate support for renters, landlords, and property developers alike. This expansion comes at a critical time as Worcester experiences a surge in housing demand, driven by ongoing urban revitalization and population growth.

The office will be led by Kimberly Donovan, a newly appointed partner and team lead for the Worcester region, bringing local expertise and leadership to the company’s next phase of growth.

The launch coincides with a major milestone in NextGen’s property portfolio: a new exclusive leasing partnership for 560 residential units across nine buildings in collaboration with The Grid District, a major downtown Worcester development. This deal solidifies NextGen’s presence in the local market and enhances its inventory of quality housing solutions.

Key to NextGen’s expansion strategy is the continued use of the Boston Pads technology stack, a full-service real estate ecosystem that powers the company’s digital operations, listings, and client engagement tools. The Worcester office will be fully integrated into this platform, providing agents and clients with real-time access to New England’s most comprehensive rental database.

“We’re incredibly excited to be opening in Worcester,” said Demetrios Salpoglou, CEO of NextGen Realty and Boston Pads. “This new NextGen-West office supports our long-term vision of serving all corners of the Commonwealth, and Worcester is the natural next step. With rising demand for quality housing outside Boston, we are proud to provide the tools, resources, and expertise to help meet that need.”

The Worcester office represents a significant chapter in NextGen’s growth, as the company seeks to scale its services and tap into emerging markets across Massachusetts.
